Alec Weinberg (F, '18) is the 3rd GW ice hockey player to be elected to the ACCHL Hall of Fame where he joins Max Terhar '16 and Jake Lessick '17. Although Alec was limited to just 38 games over 3 seasons, he made the most of them scoring 72 goals (5th all-time), 46 assists (11th all-time), and 118 points (7th all-time). His best single-season totals included 32 goals in 17-18 (T-2nd best ever), 24 assists in 16-17 (T-5th best ever), and 56 points in 16-17 (4th best ever). For his offensive prowess, he was awarded the ACCHL's Most Valuable Forward award for the 17-18 season, and was a 1st-Team All-ACCHL the same season. He also won player of the week honors for 9/30/17 for having 6 points (5G, 1A) in one weekend that included wins over NC State and Virginia Tech. GW finished 1st in the Capital Division in all three of Alec's seasons and he led the team to their first-ever Regular Season Championship in 17-18, going 8-1-0 in ACCHL play.
Congrats to Alec on this incredible achievement!
